Yoshi’s Woolly World amiibo allocation hits a bump in France

‘Stock destroyed’

With all of the poor handling of amiibo from Nintendo, you’d think it couldn’t get any worse, but then things like this happen. Following on the heels of an entire shipment of Splatoon amiibo (and copies of the game) being stolen, Hypergames Auchan, a French retailer, has reported that a large portion of their stock has been “destroyed.” Refunds were given out for the issue.

We’ve reached out to Nintendo of France to find out what happened. Ugh, what a mess. With Nintendo announcing around 20 more amiibo at E3, I don’t know if I want to keep collecting them — I have them all as of now, but it’s only going to get crazier.
