From today, the midpoint of August, it’s exactly 2.5 months until the end of October. By then, we’ll have our hands on a new 2.5D mascot platformer that has a popular name attached to it.
Playtonic Games has revealed that Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair will launch sometime in October. The announcement comes way of this custom video where the affable duo mingle with a pumpkin sitting atop a roof. The pumpkin says “No!” but the chameleon with a bat affixed to his head makes his way inside anyway. Rude!
Just as Yooka and Laylee barged into that pumpkin patch, Impossible Lair busts down the double doors in approximately two months’ time. As the video notes, now we play the waiting game.
