Yatagarasu Attack on Cataclysm delayed until summer

Indie fighter pushed back due to a variety of difficulties

Yatagarasu Attack on Cataclysm is being pushed back until summer, PDW: Hotapen announced today. The doujin fighting game was initially planned for a February or March release.

Causes of the delay include a lengthy voiceover process and preparing for the Japan Amusement Expo. The team is also shorthanded in the art department, where development has been hamstrung by hiring difficulties and illness.

As one might expect, the beta release has also been postponed. In the interim, qualifiying backers will receive an early build of the arcade version, which was exhibited at JAEPO earlier this month alongside BlazBlue, Skullgirls, and Ulta Street Fighter IV.
