Yakuza 3 demo coming to Japanese PlayStation Network

I guess the word’s out that I’m excited about Yakuza 3. Here’s how I know: when word got out that a Japanese PlayStation Network demo was coming, my inbox exploded. Personal emails said things like “Dude, Dale! Yakuza 3, PSN!” and “Hey, you never return my emails” or “hey, are you ever going to do that thing that I asked you to do?” or “account XXXX3350 is overdue.”

Naturally, I deleted them all except the ones about Yakuza 3. Sorry to friends, colleagues and bill collectors.

Now’s the time to do that thing. You know, that thing we do to get the demos that Japan’s PSN gets. Tonight. You’ll want to do that tonight, as the Yakuza series makes its PS3 debut on February 19th, Japan time. 

Destructoid community blogger unangbangkay does a fantastic job of telling you why you should try out the Yakuza 3 demo today. My favorite quote from his excited post:

IT HAS SOUL PATCHES. DID YOU KNOW THE GEARS GUYS ALL HAVE SOUL PATCHES? WELL, THIS GUY IS BETTER, BECAUSE HE HAS A LEISURE SUIT AND RAD SHOES.
