XBLA version of Puzzle Quest hacked to 400 MSP

According to a Major Nelson blog post, the latest Deal of the Week is Puzzle Quest. Starting now through Monday, people can download — courtesy of Microsoft — the LIVE Arcade release at a brilliant price of 400 Microsoft Points instead of the usual 800 Microsoft Banana Dollars. This is a 50 percent savings, people.

I rubbed Puzzle Quest all on my gums over a period of a few weeks. It has the puzzle game thing — that unexplainable awesomeness that keeps people playing and wanting more despite needing to do something more productive.

For those of you who aren’t familiar with Puzzle Quest, think about it like this: it’s like Bejeweled with avatars and various RPG elements like a map system, a story, and even experience points.

I find it hard to believe that someone reading this doesn’t own Puzzle Quest on some sort of mobile device or console. Are any of you considering a purchase?
