Rather solid line-up for Xbox Live Arcade this week. Today, we’re getting Outland (800 Microsoft Points), Nin2-Jump (400 Microsoft Points), and Trouble Witches Neo (800 Microsoft Points).
If you only try one, make sure to go for Outland. It’s got some Ikaruga, Prince of Persia, and Metroidvania in it — really neat, creative game. I know there have been an absurd amount of action-platformers these past few years, but this is certainly worth your attention.
Nin2-Jump is also neat, both in that it offers an unusual premise and helps those in need. As for Trouble Witches Neo, there seemed to be little to no marketing for it. Never a good sign. Maybe one of our shmup-loving readers can give us the skinny.
