Last week’s big E3 “return to form” saw more than a few celebrities poking their heads around the Los Angeles Convention Center. I ran into Eliza Dushku while checking out a demo of Bethesda Softwork’s WET, for instance; the Dollhouse actress is providing the voice of the game’s main character, Rubi.
I also ran into a member of the Wu-Tang Clan, Raekwon the Chef (note: I can’t personally vouch for his culinary expertise), at Capcom’s cocktail mixer for their upcoming title, Dark Void. When I asked what he was doing there, I was told that he’d be working on a remix track that would be used to promote (or appear in) the upcoming Xbox LIVE/PlayStation Network release of Marvel vs. Capcom 2.
Speaking with Gamertag Radio, Raekwon was a bit cagier on his participation with the title.
“I’m doing a situation with Capcom,” he tells Gamertag Radio’s Godfree, somewhat cryptically.
I’m not exactly sure what “a situation” could entail — a cage fight, helping Capcom’s Chris Kramer pick a new car insurance provider, tomato growing, etc. — but Gamertag’s guess at some kind of remix sounds spot on. And that’s the situation.
