WoW: The War Within Hellcaller Warlock Hero Talents

In World of Warcraft: The War Within, one of the new Hero Talents for the Warlock class is the Hellcaller. It is one of the three Hero Talents available for Warlock alongside the Soul Harvester and Diabolist. Hellcaller is available to both Affliction and Destruction Warlocks. Amongst the Satyr sects throughout Azeroth, Hellcallers are the most feared; weaving together the vilest of Shadow magic and entropic fel fire at the cost of corrupting their own soul. Specializing in increasing corruption and affliction, here are the Hero Talent choices for Hellcaller Warlock:

• Wither (Passive) – Replaces Corruption. Betows a vile malediction upon the target, burning the sinew and muscle of its host, dealing 11,427 Shadowflame damage immediately and an additional 82,446 Shadowflame damage over 18 sec.
• Xalan’s Ferocity (Passive) – Shadow damage increased by 2%. Fire damage increased by 2%.
• Blackened Soul (Passive) – Spending Soul Shards further corrupts enemies affected by your Wither, increasing its stack count by 1. Each time Wither increases it has a chance to become acute, dealing 4,818 Shadowflame damage to its host every 1 sec until 1 stack remains. Wither will always become acute after reaching 8 stacks or when its host reaches 20% health.
• Xalan’s Cruelty (Passive) – Fire critical strike chance increased 10%. Shadow critical strike chance increased 10%.

  • Curse of the Satyr (Passive) – Curse of Weakness is empowered and transforms into Curse of the Satyr. Increases the time between an enemy’s attack by 20% and the casting time of all spells by 30% for 2 min.
  • Aura of Enfeeblement (Passive) – While Unending Resolve is active, enemies within 30 yds are affected by Curse of Tongues and Curse of Weakness at 100% effectiveness.

  • Hatefury Rituals (Passive) – Wither deals 50% increased periodic damage but its duration is 25% shorter.
  • Bleakheart Tactics (Passive) – Wither damage increased 20%. When Wither gains a stack from Blackened Soul, it has a chance to gain 1 more.

  • Zevrim’s Resilience (Passive) – Dark Pact heals you for 834 every 1 sec while active.
  • Illhoof’s Design (Passive) – Sacrifice 10% of your maximum health. Soul Leech now absorbs an additional 15% of your maximum health.
• Mark of Xavius (Passive) – Agony damage increased by 20%. Agony is now a combo skill. Directly recasting Agony within 2 seconds applies Agony to 1 other nearby enemy. Wither damage increased by 25%. Wither is now a combo skill. Directly recasting Wither within 2 seconds applies WIther 1 other nearby enemy.
• Cull of the Weak (Passive) – Blackened Soul damage increased by 30%. Casting Wither directly or refreshing Wither with less than 4 seconds left causes WIther to gain 3 stacks.
• Mark of Peroth’arn (Passive) – Blackened Soul deals 2% increased damage per stack of Wither. Agony and Wither deals damage 40% faster.
• Malevolence – Dark magic erupts from you and corrupts your soul for 20 seconds, causing enemies suffering from your Wither to take Shadowflame damage and increase its stack count by 3. 1 minute cooldown.
