WoW: The War Within Dark Ranger Hunter Hero Talents

In World of Warcraft: The War Within, one of the new Hero Talents for the Hunter class is the Dark Ranger. It is one of the three Hero Talents available for Hunter alongside the Pack Leader and Sentinel. Dark Ranger is available to both Beast Mastery and Marksmanship Hunters. All Dark Ranger Hunter Hero Talents

The Dark Ranger embraces hatred and strikes from the shadows, assaulting its enemies with necrotic, shadow-empowered abilities. Enemies who fall from those abilities further empower the dark energies. Focusing on Shadow damage, these are the Hero Talents for Dark Ranger Hunter:

• Black Arrow (10 Focus, 47 yd range, Instant) – 30 sec cooldown – Fire a Black Arrow into your target, dealing 28,248 Shadow damage over 18 sec. Each time Black Arrow deals damage, you have a 10% chance to generate a charge of Aimed Shot.
• Overshadow (Passive) – Aimed Shot and Rapid Fire deal 15% increased damage. Barbed Shot and Kill Command deal 15% increased damage.
• Shadow Hounds (Passive) – Each time Black Arrow deals damage, you have a 10% chance to manifest a Dark Hound to charge to your target and deal Shadow damage.
• Death Shade (Passive) – When you apply Black Arrow to a target, you gain Deathblow effect.
• 2 Possible Choices
  • Dark Empowerment (Passive) – When Black Arrow resets the cooldown of an ability, gain 15 Focus.
  • Grave Reaper (Passive – When a target affected by Black Arrow dies, the cooldown of Black Arrow is reduced by 12 sec.
• 2 Possible Choices
  • Embrace the Shadows (Passive) – You heal for 15% of all Shadow damage dealt by you or your pets.
  • Smoke Screen (Passive) – Exhilaration grants you 3 sec of Survival of the Fittest. Survival of the Fittest activates Exhilaration at 50% effectiveness.
• Dark Chains (Passive) – Disengage will chain the closest target to the ground, causing them to move 40% slower until they move 8 yards away.
• Shadow Lash (Passive) – When Trueshot is active, Black Arrow deals damage 50% faster.
• Shadow Surge (Passive) – When Multi-Shot hits a target affected by Black Arrow, a burst of Shadow energy erupts, dealing moderate Shadow damage to all enemies near the target. This can only occur once every 6 sec.
• 2 Possible Choices
  • Darkness Calls (Passive) – All Shadow damage you and your pets deal is increased by 10%.
  • Shadow Erasure (Passive) Kill Shot has a 15% chance to generate a charge of Aimed Shot when used on a target affected by Black Arrow.
• Withering Fire (Passive) – When Black Arrow resets the cooldown of Aimed Shot or Barbed Shot, a barrage of dark arrows will strike your target for Shadow damage and increase the damage you and your pets deal by 10% for 6 sec.
