Worms Reloaded is finally bringing Worms back to the PC

Ahh, Worms. The game my friends and I secretly installed on all the computers in our middle school’s computer lab so that we could play instead of doing whatever asinine “Learn how to use a computer!” task we had been assigned. It’s been 10 years since there was a new Worms game on the PC, but that’s about to change.

Worms Reloaded‘s release date has just been announced, and it’s coming out on Steam on August 26th. Promising 60 single player missions, a full map editor (or as they call it, a landscape creator), and HD visuals, this is a game I’m going to picking up for sure, because OMG WORMS!!!!

Pre-orders are opening up today, and pre-ordering from Steam nets you 10% off the normal price of $19.99, a day’s worth of early access to the game, and some in-game items. Check out the trailer after the jump, and let us know what you think.
