Worm creator’s ‘Flockers’ is hitting Steam Early Access in May

It looks a lot like Lemmings, and I’m okay with that

In the first time in forever, Team 17 unveiled something other than a new Worms game — Flockers, a cute yet gruesome adventure starring a flock of sheep. If you’re interested in Team 17’s next foray into the gaming realm, you’ll get a chance to check it out in Early Access on May 6th.

It’s $14.99 for the trouble, and you’ll get 25 levels (with more planned), two themes, a level editor, and Steam Workshop Support. Team 17 notes that it will heavily update the Early Access Build as well.

I don’t know about you guys, but I’m not super keen on Early Access builds in general outside of massive open world experiences. I feel like you’re playing the bulk of the game in a broken alpha phase, and by the time the game comes out months later you’re already burned out on it. So in all likelihood, I’ll probably wait for this one.
