Find a way to subdue those nerd-jitters, World of Warcraft movie hopefuls. It looks like the planned film isn’t close to being done. In a recent interview at the Television Critics Association Winter Edition, the film’s executive producer stated that they’re still in the “development” phase. No filming.
“It’s in development,” producer Robert Tapert told IF Magazine at the event. “We’re in the outline, story, script phase.” He added that Raimi might do a baby (small) movie next.
Film director Sam Raimi isn’t doing “Spider-Man 4,” which is apparently a big deal for both Spider-Man and World of Warcraft flick fans. But despite the dude’s newfound freedom, it doesn’t look like things are progressing as quickly as we’d all like — this script phase business sounds like this may take a while longer. Imagine that.
