Blizzard has landed on an August 14, 2018 release for World of Warcraft‘s seventh expansion, Battle for Azeroth. You can go ahead and mark your calendar (and X out the rest of the month while you’re at it).

The company has also detailed the pre-purchasing options for this expansion.

The Standard Edition of Battle for Azeroth ($50) offers a level 110 boost and early access to unlock four Allied Races (the Highmountain tauren, Lightforged draenei, Nightborne, and Void elves). The Digital Deluxe Edition ($70) packs in additional in-game goodies, including a baby Tortollan pet and Gilded Ravasaur and Seabraid Stallion mounts. Finally, the physical Collector’s Edition ($100) has a double-sided Horde/Alliance emblem, Elegy & A Good War hardcover book, and digital soundtrack.

Blizzard is also throwing in the most recent expansion, Legion, for pre-purchasers. I may not be into WoW, but I appreciate the heck out of that Orcs & Humans-style artwork up top.
