World of StarCraft fan mod looks promising

Unless you are a techno viking, you’ll want to go ahead and turn down the volume before starting up this video. In it, RyanWin runs us through his vision of World of StarCraft.

As the name would imply, it’s World of Warcraft applied to a different subset of Blizzard fiction. I knew StarCraft II‘s map editor was versatile, but I wasn’t expecting anyone to take the tools this far. As far as these things go, I doubt we’ll see a public build anytime soon.

That said, the aforementioned link goes to the creator’s forums, and it looks like people are eager to sign on board to help out with the project. Who knows.
