PS4 and Vita
Square Enix showed off World of Final Fantasy at its press conference. It was previously announced for PS4 and Vita at Sony’s last night.
It takes place in a “completely new universe” than other Final Fantasy games, though it’s very much Final Fantasy, meant to be a, “game where small children can play with family.” Your typical, “simple, but deep experience” junk. Maybe the brother and sister protagonists (with monster buddies) should’ve been a good clue.
Its director explained it is meant to be like “diving into a world of toys,” which just makes it feel like Square Enix missed their chance to make amiibo-likes.
