How’s that for a kick in the nazi nuts? Wolfenstein has just launched today, and a vast number of the team responsible for its multiplayer mode have been sacked as a nice reward. UK developer Endrant Studios was working on the game’s online play alongside Raven Software, and with the game now on shelves, it was deemed that a few heads could roll.

“We have recently completed a development cycle and have regrettably been forced to make adjustments to staff and headcounts,” said an Endrant rep. “Those affected are valued members of our team who have worked incredibly hard on our latest title. We hope that they land on their feet quickly.”

No figures were given, but since Endrant was only a 17-strong team, one could imagine that any losses have been felt. Seriously, what a rotten day to lose your job, the very day your game has been released.
