Nearly halfway to its Kickstarter goal
Back in November last year, we first got word of Witchmarsh, a great-looking indie RPG that would be launching a Kickstarter in January, to fund its development. That Kickstarter launched over the weekend, and despite only being four days old, just over £20,000 has been raised towards the final goal of £50,000.
Witchmarsh is an action-RPG set in Massachusetts during the 1920s, featuring a team of detectives looking for a group of missing people, dubbed the Witchmarsh Twelve. If successfully funded, it will have to of my favorite things: optional two- to four-player co-op and a period jazz score by Francisco Cerda, who did the wonderful music for Gunpoint and Jamestown.
If you’re wondering if you should back the Kickstarter, you should check out all the gifs on the dev team’s tumblr; it seems like any project that generates great gifs is successful (Hyper Light Drifter).
