Dream Arcade might have the answer to your Street Fighter IV FightStick-less woes. The arcade cabinet company recently revealed its wireless joystick for the Xbox 360. It’s not available quite yet, but it should be appealing if (1) you’re not willing to pay 300 bucks for a MadCatz FightStick and (2) you’re tired of tripping over cords.
Dream Arcade didn’t release any specifics about the joystick’s parts, but we’re guessing we’ll hear more in the coming days. The company announced that the beefy joystick would be available for purchase in five-to-seven weeks.
I’ve learned one crucial thing while watching MadCatz scramble to get more FightSticks in peoples’ hands: joysticks are serious business with consumers. I’m hoping Dream Arcade gets that and can provide a viable, wireless alternative. I’m tired of kicking around cords during SFIV bashes.
