Microsoft recently rolled out the October update to Windows 10, and it has one notable application to playing games. Specifically, you’ll have an easier time staying focused on your game.

As Major Nelson details, there’s now a feature in the Windows settings that disables update prompts while playing a game. Driver updates and countdowns to system restarts are suppressed while in Game Mode. It has a toggle, though — you can keep those prompts active if you want.

Just a little quality of life thing to make the experience marginally better.
