Will Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 be on Xbox Game Pass?

A Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Xbox Game Pass introduction would be grand. A barrier of entry would be removed and let both Xbox and PC gamers enjoy the latest maps and modes easily. It also seems more likely to happen as Xbox now owns Activision. It might not be that simple, however, for Modern Warfare 3 to be on Game Pass.

At the time of writing, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 will not be on Xbox Game Pass from day one. We also have no confirmation whether or not any Call of Duty games will join the service in the near future.

“While we do not have plans to put Modern Warfare III or Diablo IV into Game Pass this year, once the deal closes, we expect to start working with Xbox to bring our titles to more players around the world,” the official Activision-Blizzard X/Twitter account posted (via TweakTown). “And we anticipate that we would begin adding games into Game Pass sometime in the course of next year.”
