Wild Arms creator teases series revival yet again

An actual game? Or more re-releases?

Wild Arms was originally released in 1996, which means the 20th anniversary is this year. In 2015, series creator Akifumi Kaneko teased that he was going to “keep the flame alive,” and now, he’s just reported that he’s attended a “Wild Arms meeting.” According to Kaneko, he met with multiple Sony producers, and discussed how to handle the anniversary. I mean…all this could end up producing is some PS1 classic re-releases, but there’s hope of something if you’ve been waiting this long.

I was never crazy about the Wild Arms series, but I did enjoy the games overall, especially the first. The last entry in the series was Wild Arms XF for the PSP in 2008.
