WiiWare title Sexy Poker deemed too sexy for Australia

Gameloft’s upcoming Sexy Poker is basically strip poker in a videogame — removal of female clothing as bets instead of money. But gamers in Australia will never see the game’s girl’s down unders as the OFLC has refused classification for this title, which essentially equates to a ban.

From a statement from the Board:

In the Board’s view Sexy Poker offers depictions of nudity as an incentive or reward to interactive game play.In the view of the Board, the impact of the game exceeds strong as except in material restricted to adults, nudity and sexual activity must not be related to incentives or rewards. As such the game cannot be accommodated in a MA15+ classification.

And, as you probably already know, Australia has no 18+ rating, so no game release. Of course, there are tons of other strip poker games, but none of them would be legal for sale in Australia. This after the loss of Fallout 3 from a similar ruling? What a crap place to be an adult gamer!
