Music Room. Room of Music. Room de Music. Shitsu. Roomu. Room you can listen to music in…on your game system.

You needed it. You wanted it. Okay, so not really. But Nintendo Japan made one anyway. It’s an upcoming addition to the Wii no Ma service, which started out as a sort of on-demand television program for Japanese Wii systems. The music room was supposed to be under wraps, but halfie J-pop star Becky (remember the creepy/cute Starfy music video?) let it slip that some of her tunes would be on the new service starting December 5th.

Siliconera points to other trademarked names they found, which point to other rooms for manga, books, and local flavor. I wonder if they’re still thinking about bringing that service out west.
