Who loves ya’ baby: Sony releases Patapon demo for Valentine’s Day

Recommended Videos

Let it never be said that Valentine’s Day is a worthless, contrived caricature of affection.  Granted it is a holiday forced onto society by corporations rife with avarice, but these very same corporate overlords occasionally like to make a show of the empathy they’re contractually obligated to renounce upon donning a well pressed suit.

You see, Sony understands that we don’t want chocolate or flowers or any of the other hollow displays of devotion we’ve come to expect over the years, and as such they’re releasing the Patapon demo via the Playstation store for PC and PS3 as a special Valentine’s Day gift.  Naturally the demo is limited to North America, so those of you outside our heavily fortified borders will have to wade through the crushing emptiness of being alone in the world without the benefit of Patapon to see you through.

The demo features the same save-to-final ability as the pre-order demo, ostensibly indicating the same exclusive item from the pre-order demo will be available to all comers.  The demo should be available some time this afternoon, so set aside your holiday induced grief and commence to wreaking silhouetted havoc.
