Fallout 4 has been out for long enough, so the time has come to start discussing the finer points of the game. I hope you’ve consulted Jordan’s companions guide, and have located all 13 characters to accompany on your travel. Obviously, if you don’t want the names of the companions spoiled or you don’t want to see discussions regarding them, don’t scroll down below.
I’m going to kick things off with my personal favorite — Nick Valentine. Sure he’s a bit of a softie, and far too nice to the player right off the bat, but he’s also a badass. I really dig the fact that he’s a synth that was thrown out as a “defect,” with a chip on his shoulder. Also, he’s fairly useful from a pragmatic standpoint, and I love how he tracks or otherwise tries to explain the Mysterious VATS Stranger.
