Aniimo’s got a pretty massive, generous event available as soon as you first dive in. This event, which is called Prismana Pact, lets you choose one Prismana Aniimo for free.

Prismana Aniimo are extremely tough to get, so you’ll want to make this decision very carefully, as you can only grab one of the available options upon completing the event. It’s a pretty daunting decision to make early on, so here’s which Prismana Pact Aniimo you should choose and a complete breakdown of how this system works in Aniimo.

What are Prismana Aniimo?

Prismana Aniimo are special variants of the many creatures you can catch around Idyll. Overall, they mostly just act as cool skins for the Aniimo, changing their appearance rather than making them overall more powerful.

While this is their main function, they do also change the chosen Aniimo’s featured elements a bit and unlock some additional attacks. Once these moves are unlocked, though, they can then be used on any other version of the selected Aniimo, so it’s not really that special. The main difference with Prismana Aniimo is their appearance.

How to claim Prismana Pact Aniimo

You can claim your chosen Prismana Pact Aniimo upon obtaining the Junior Wayfarer title. Progressing through your Elite Training and the main storyline will eventually get you there. This event is free and has no end date, so you don’t need to worry about rushing it. You can also change your chosen Prismana Pact Aniimo at any point up until you claim it.

Which free Prismana Aniimo should you choose?

Ultimately, it’s up to you which Prismana Aniimo you pick and how you decide to make this key choice. It can be based purely on which one you think looks coolest, or instead a strategic choice determined by the type of strong Aniimo you most need. There’s no wrong way to make this decision, so don’t feel too much pressure about it.

In my initial playthrough on the early access press server, I chose Pawney simply because I thought they looked the coolest. And although I certainly wasn’t disappointed in my choice, I think I’ll make a different decision when I start anew on the live version of the game.

In my experience, finding strong DPS Aniimo while exploring was extremely common. All other types, though, felt a bit rarer, so I personally think it’s a better idea to opt for any of the available Aniimo in this event that are not DPS, like Heal, REGEN, Support, and BREAK. Most of the Alphas and stronger Aniimo you’ll find as you progress are already DPS, so there’s no shortage of strong fighters to choose from. You also start off with a fairly solid one when choosing between Lunara and Helion.

That said, though, you certainly won’t be disappointed with any of the DPS options you can pick from this event, either. All of the Aniimo featured here are viable options for one reason or another, but based on my experience with them, the overall strongest contenders are Glacy, Grizbo, and Hexxin. Glacy is a superb, well-rounded healer, while Hexxin is an extremely reliable REGEN unit. Of the DPS options, Grizbo is the most flexible damage dealer.

You also may choose to make this tough choice depending on which elements you’re most lacking. Some of the options also specialize in more than one type of element, so picking one who is capable of helping out with multiple elements is also a very viable way of making this choice.

In the end, you’ll be able to get them all; it’ll just take a lot longer to obtain the Prismana versions of these creatures outside of the event. Because of this, though, don’t put too much pressure on this choice, and do whatever feels right for you. No decision you make here will ultimately affect your gameplay that much, so feel free to make this choice however you like.
