My glasses! My glasses!

After freeing Waldhar from his cell, he’ll enlist another favor in the A Magisterial Amenity quest. The mission involves finding Waldhar’s confiscated spectacles in Dragon’s Dogma 2 in order to help with his reading at his new home.

Waldhar’s spectacles can be found in the storeroom of Vernworth Hall, near the same location as the prison in The Caged Magistrate. They are on top of a shelf in the top-left corner of the building (marked with the arrow symbol). Like Waldhar’s previous mission, Pawns cannot follow you here, so you must go at it alone.

You may need to complete The Stolen Throne quest beforehand to gain access to this area. However, it may still be possible to venture here, as I could enter it freely during the daytime. Go through the doors and continue forward, passing the next entryway. Then, start heading to the back of the building to discover a room in the left corner.

Waldhar’s spectacles will glow on the shelf near some crates. If you haven’t already finished The Stolen Throne quest, a chest for the formal raiment will also be in a chest nearby.

Return the spectacles to Waldhar to earn the Winter’s Path, a grimoire that casts an icy spell. The waypoint back to him may be fairly confusing since he’s stationed in an underground area. So, if you get lost here, mark the doorway symbol in the Slums instead to pave the way better.
