Where to find Linus’s Basket in Stardew Valley

Blackberry picking equipment gone missing

During the first Fall you experience in Stardew Valley, you’ll receive a letter from Linus, the lovable tent-dwelling villager who just wants to be accepted for who he is. Thankfully, this quest is actually very easy to complete.

Between day 8 and 11 of Fall every year, Blackberry season comes to Stardew Valley, meaning you can forage a frankly huge number of Blackberries from the bushes in Pelican Town and the surrounding area. Linus is a fan of Blackberries, so it stands to reason that he would make use of this free source of food. Sadly, he’s lost his basket and he needs your help to find it.

In order to find Linus’ basket, you’ll need to head to one very specific location. If you’re currently going through your first playthrough, you’ll likely not know that you can actually access this area of the map.

Once you’ve received a letter from Linus on the first day of Blackberry Season, so that’s Fall 8, you’ll need to head out in search of his basket. It doesn’t matter what friendship level you’re at with Linus, this letter will arrive regardless.

Linus’ basket can be found by heading to the Bus Stop, onto the road and then heading left as though you’re walking off-screen. When the small new area loads, you’ll find the basket on the top grassy area of the road, right next to the entrance to the tunnel.

Once you’ve picked it up, you’ll need to find Linus.
