Where to find High Horsepower TM 186 in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet

Used by Pokemon that arenā€™t horses

For those looking for a powerful, Ground-Type alternative to Earthquake, High Hosepower might be up your alley. On one hand, it is both five points weaker than Earthquake in power and five points less accurate. However, it compensates by having no secondary effects, like potentially hitting a partner Pokemon for serious damage. This gives High Horsepower an interesting niche, and now you can teach it in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet via TM 186.

If you can access The Teal Mask DLC, you can find the High Horsepower TM in Kitakami. Travel to the Paradise Barrens, located on the northwestern side of the map. From the fast travel point, climb up the tall rock pillar right next to you. At the top, youā€™ll spot a golden Pokeball with The High Horsepower TM 186 inside. Itā€™s that easy!

Honestly, this oneā€™s pretty hard to miss. In fact, if you canā€™t find it, you probably already grabbed it while you progressed through the main story.

How to craft the High Horsepower TM in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet: The Teal Mask

If youā€™re looking to craft multiple copies of this TM instead, you can make it with the following materials:

  • 5,000 LP
  • 2 Swinub Hair
  • 4 Mudbray Mud

Youā€™ll find the Pokemon you need right in Kitakami, so no need to return to Paldea to farm this one out. Remember, evolved Pokemon will still drop these same materials too, so feel free to take down any applicable monsters that you see. Happy farming!
