Where to find all the training spots and shrines in Loop8: Summer of Gods

Focus on the blessings instead

Training and stat-building are a big part of Loop8: Summer of Gods. Unlike traditional RPGs, you don’t increase your strength or agility through battling and leveling up. Instead, all around the town of Ashihara, there are training spots where Nini can increase his stats. When you train in these locations, time will pass quickly. And while your training stats don’t carry over from loop to loop, it is easy to get all those stats back by training every loop.

There are a few places around town where Nini can train, and his only limit is how much time is left in the day. Some activities are only available for a few hours, while others can be done late into the night.

Here are all the training spots around Ashihara:

  • Intelligence
    • Go to school classroom 1-A (second floor of the school) between 8:00 am and 9:00 am Monday through Friday. If Nini is late, he can still sneak in.
    • Go to school classroom 1-A outside of class hours and select the book on Nini’s desk.
  • Agility
    • Go to the beach and select the tires.
  • Skill
    • On Ashihara Main Street, select the red arcade machine when its screen is flashing. The arcade turns off at night.
  • Strength
    • Go to the uneven bars at school. The gate to the school locks at night.
  • Social Status
    • Go to school classroom 1-A (second floor of the school) between 8:00 am and 9:00 am Monday through Friday. If Nini is late, he can still sneak in.
    • Study the map of Japan in classroom 1-B.
  • Divine Power
    • Go to the straw broom on the left side of the main shrine.

You can also build these stats through conversation choices like “Let’s Work Out.” The appeal stat can also be increased through conversation choices.

While it’s important to train each loop, players should remember to keep visiting those shrines. The blessings you get from shrines not only increase the stats for Nini and friends, but they also carry over from loop to loop. Here are the shrine locations around Ashihara in Loop8:

  • Oyama Home: The shrine is in the backyard.
  • High School: The shrine in the student store is at the bottom of the stairs.
  • Road to School: The shrine is the rock at the fork in the road.
  • Beach: The shrine is the rock with the rope around it.
  • Main Street: There is a small shrine between two buildings about halfway through Main Street.
  • Main Shrine: The first shrine is the center shrine in the upper right-hand side of the Main Shrine area. The second shine can be reached by taking the trail on the upper right-hand side of the area. This will take you to the large tree. The shrine is to the left of that tree.

In addition to these locations, you can get blessings during conversations with the other residents of Ashihara.
