Where are the Planes in Fortnite? — All Plane Locations

Fortnite OG said it was returning to the past, and it was serious. In the most recent update on November 16, the infamous battle royale reintroduced pilotable planes scattered all throughout the island, and they are just as you remember. I was able to make it to Survivor III just coasting through the clouds.

But, one thing to take note of if you’d like to follow my lead — there are a limited number of planes, and each of them has a limited amount of gas. If you’d like to get your hands on one, you’d better do it right as you’re departing from the Battle Bus so as to avoid missing out. If you’d like to know where to find said planes, you’re in the right place! Here’s where to find all planes in Fortnite OG.

Where to find Planes in Fortnite OG?

In my experience, the best place to find planes in Fortnite OG is Frosty Flights in the southwestern corner of the Fortnite island. This is mostly because there are several planes within a walkable distance from each other, meaning if you happen to miss out on one of them, you can always go get another. 

You can find one of the planes on a hill located on the south side of Frosty Flights, while two more can be found to the northwest near a landing strip. I theorize that the number of planes here varies between matches, as I want to say there was only one during one match while in another there were two.

If you head north from here, you’ll find another plane to the northeast of Snobby Shores, resting on a hill overlooking a forest. 

Another can be found even further north, neighboring with Haunted Hills outside of a dilapidated fort. 

I found a plane slightly to the northeast of Pleasant Park, though I would’ve sworn it wasn’t there during my first match, so it might be one of those locations that depends on luck.

If you look to the east of Junk Junction, you’ll find a plane resting precariously on a cliff.

You can also find a plane slightly to the northeast of Shifty Shafts.

In Paradise Palms on the southeast side of the island, you can find a plane atop a hill, not terribly far from the cliff.

There’s one just outside of Dusty Divot — you shouldn’t be able to miss it, it’s on the southeast side of the crater. 

Going further north, you can find one more plane to the northeast of Tomato Temple.

And lastly, there’s a plane just northeast of Risky Reels, on what looks to be a piece of farmland. I’m sure the owners won’t mind if you borrow it for a while.
