Even if you’re loving the current Fortnite season, it’s hard not to wonder when the next one is coming. As we’ve come to know, nothing lasts forever in the game, and Epic are always working behind the scenes to blow our minds and switch things up in ways we can’t even imagine.

While Aang and Avatar: The Last Airbender are the stars of the show right now, there time is running out, and we can tell you how long they’ve got left before Fortnite Chapter 5, Season 3 starts.

When does Fortnite Chapter 5, Season 2 end?

Fortnite Chapter 5, Season 2 officially ends on Friday, May 24, 2024. We know this thanks to the in-game Battle Pass, which has a countdown timer to tell players how long they have left to level up and unlock all the cosmetic items.

With that in mind, we know that Fortnite Chapter 5, Season 3 will start also start on Friday, May 24, 2024.

The game will go into downtime at around 4 am ET / 1 am PT / 9am BST, which will last a couple of hours. During this time, Epic will be working on adding the new features to the game while players download the update. The servers will then come back online, and players can jump into matches.

Can you buy levels to catch up on the battle pass?

If you haven’t played much, or feel like you won’t have time in Chapter 5, Season 2, you can buy your way out if you’re desperate and want to get this season’s rewards. It may be costly, however. Each level costs 150 V Bucks. In my opinion, it’s not worth it, but if you’re really close to getting the character you want, it’s certainly an option. Nevertheless, Fortnite‘s one of the best live-service games out there right now.
