Whatcha been playing this week, Destructoid?

I did the Monster Mash

Welcome to the final weekend of October. You know what that means? That’s right, my birthday is just a couple of weeks away. Also, (and a little less selfishly), we’re heading into November, and marketing’s busiest season, as publishers push out their final wares and prep for financially prosperous events such as Black Friday and the Holidays.

None of that shit should matter to you right now, though. You should be chilling out with good company, good food, good games, or all three. ‘Tis the weekend after all. I haven’t played a whole lot this week, though I did put some time into Rainbow Six Siege‘s “Doktor’s Curse” event. This is a twisted game of Hide and Seek that has been designed in such a way that makes the monsters feel like the vulnerable, besieged party. Hmmm… That doesn’t really work, but it’s still a fun mode, and has at least given birth to “Demon Frost”, who will be forever haunting my teammates from now on.

What about you? Drop us a note below and let us know what games you’re enjoying right now. As I’ve noted before, the fall season often brings about the cramming of previously-missed games, as prep begins for the all important GOTY wars. So whether you’re enjoying titles old or new, fill us in on your current obsession.

Have a wonderful weekend, from all of us at Destructoid.
