Welcome to the weekend. We’re glad you’ve decided to take some time out from you hardworked-for days off to join us here at Destructoid. How has the week been for you? Hope all of you had a fine one and that life is treating you very well indeed.

Video game-wise, most of my time has seen me in Birmingham for EGX 2018, which sees many popular publishers such as Bandai Namco, Nintendo, Capcom, Ubisoft and others gather together to show off their upcoming wares, hoping to grab a chunk of your Holiday cash, well, just your cash in general. I’ve spent time playing some of their brand new games, which you’ll be reading about soon. I also chatted with some lovely cosplayers and caught up on some pinball, of which I am very, very rusty.

How about you fine lads ‘n’ lasses? Are you still thwipping around New York in Marvel’s Spider-Man? Maybe you’re taking Lara through the darkest of jungles in Shadow of the Tomb Raider, or have taken to the courts – or the ice – in recent sports releases NBA 2K19 and NHL 19. Whatever you’re hitting right now, we wanna hear about it!

Have a wonderful weekend, from all of us at Destructoid.
