What!?: My reaction to part two of the BioShock pitch

Recommended Videos

I don’t know that we ever posted the first half of Irrational Games’ pitch for BioShock, so if you have yet to read it, do so now. It’s really quite cool. Otherwise, what I’m about to link out won’t make much sense.

The second half is now up for your viewing pleasure, and I must say, it tells the tale of a radically different game than the BioShock we played. From weird temperature elements, to a vastly changed opening scene, to the inclusion of multiplayer from the get-go — crazy, all of it!

This is a highly recommended read, even if you aren’t into BioShock so much as you are into games — and their often absurd backstories — in general.
