Phasmophobia Technophilia weekly challenge mode tips

This is one of the trickier challenges you can attempt in Phasmophobia, so here are some of the best tips you can employ to help you get it done.

  • Bring all your equipment to the front door. Before you start investigating, bring all of the items you need to the front door. It can be a bit annoying to do, but bringing all of your items to the front door early on buys you back a lot of time throughout the match.
  • Watch for unofficial evidence, behaviors, and patterns. You have limited gear to work with, so ghost hunting can be a bit tough in this one. Be on the lookout for unofficial evidence, behaviors, and patterns to make catching the right culprit a bit easier. Look for clues like The Mimic’s fake Ghost Orbs and the Phantom’s refusal to appear in photos to catch the culprit.
  • Use your Night Vision Goggles. The Tier III version of Head Gear is by far the best way to see around the map, so make sure you use it.
  • Watch your sanity. Without Crucifixes and Incense, the odds of dying in a ghost hunt are a lot higher, so be sure to keep a close eye on your sanity to avoid becoming the victim of one. Take Sanity Medication as needed to keep your sanity high, ideally above 80 percent at all times.
  • Play with friends. Your odds of success are a lot better with allies helping you through this tricky trial. With additional ghost hunters at your side, you can explore the map more quickly, work together to gather evidence, and continue the investigation even if you perish.
  • Don’t give up. Since all equipment is provided for free, there’s nothing to lose in this challenge. Because of this, you can keep trying without worrying about losing money or equipment. Give each contract your all and keep at it until you get it done.
  • Make an educated guess. Some ghosts are just easier to identify than others, so luck plays a large role in how easy or tough this trial is. You should always make a guess before you leave, then reroll to try again, even if you have no idea what the correct ghost type is.
