What is the max amount of medals you can have in Helldivers 2?

I can't hold all these medals!

While you can easily grind up and max out on materials and other forms of currency in Helldivers 2, is there a cap to its medal currency? If you want to maximize medal gains to buy everything out from your War Bonds, check out important details regarding this currency.

What is the max amount of medals you can have in Helldivers 2?

The max amount of medals you can hold in your inventory in Helldivers 2 is 250. So, if you start getting close to that number, you may want to spend some on unclaimed items in your War Bonds.

Since we, the Helldivers 2 community, tend to complete Major Orders with ease, we’re constantly getting random boosts of 50 medals every three days. Pair that on top of completing personal orders which grant about 15 medals a day, it’s easy to hit that cap.

If you want to have as close to 250 medals so when a new War Bond drops, just buy smaller items in your incomplete ones. Chances are, you’re only going to buy out a few pieces of armor and a weapon when the new one comes out.

Unlike retroactive caps for XP that were lifted earlier in April, the medal cap will most likely stay at 250. This is mostly to prevent players from farming so much up before a new War Bond releases just to buy it all out on day one.

Are there other caps on materials and currencies?

Since there is a medal cap in Helldivers 2, there are also caps for materials and other forms of currency. Here are the values of each:

  • 50,000 Requisition Slips
  • 500 Common Samples
  • 250 Rare Samples
  • 100 Super Samples

If you are a player who constantly plays missions at level 7 (Suicide Mission) and higher, you’re going to mostly cap out around level 45. With this in mind, you should buy all the Stratagems and Ship Modules so you can diversify your arsenal and play with better upgrades.

Luckily, the only thing that doesn’t have a cap is Super Credits. Whether you find them in your missions, buy them through War Bond progression, or purchase them with real money on your respective platform’s store, you can stack them without worrying about a cap.
