What does Precision Damage mean in Marvel Rivals?

Precision Damage is essentially an elevated version of a Critical Hit, which means it’s a rare but very high form of damage. This feature is a lot rarer than a Critical Hit, but the damage output for it is a lot higher, so it’s still a very important stat to build up. You can boost your Precision Rate to increase the chances of landing Precision Damage against enemies in the Blood Hunt mode.
How to check Precision Damage in Marvel Rivals
You can check Precision Damage by navigating to the Blood Hunt event page, choosing the Hero tab, swapping over to the Traits section, and looking for the Precision Damage section near the bottom of the panel on the left side of the screen. It’s situated between Precision Rate and Primary Weapon Attack Speed.
This stat looks different for each hero, so be sure to swap between them to check it for all of them. And while you’re already checking your stats, you may also want to review and learn what Output Boost means, as this is another tricky feature you likely aren’t familiar with.
How to increase Precision Damage in Marvel Rivals
To increase your overall Precision Damage, look for upgrade nodes under the Traits page with the same name. You’ll occasionally find them as you progress through the skill tree. You’ll also want to select nodes called Precision Rate when you find them, as these will increase the chances of landing Precision Damage in battle.

Now that you know how this stat works and what it means in combat, you’re ready to take on the deadliest bosses Blood Hunt has to offer, including Dracula and Kingpin.
