What if Hyrule’s banks upgraded to paper currency?

Check out these awesome Hylian banknotes

Why the denizens of Hyrule still exchange Rupees is beyond me. Have you seen the size of those things? A single shard occupies an entire treasure chest! How could anybody fit more than one in their pocket?

It’s high time that the Hylian Reserve buys up all the Rupees in the land in order to issue a much more sensible form of legal tender. Just about every country on Earth uses paper currency, and if it’s good for everyone else, it ought to be good enough for Hyrule.

Artist G33k1nd159153, more simply known as “Ash,” decided to create a set of Hylian banknotes in denominations of one, five, twenty, and fifty rupees. Complete with a Triforce seal and the signatures of both the King of Hyrule and Shigeru Miyamoto, these bills are straight-up legit. In fact, I think Ash may be a counterfeiter. Guards! Seize that criminal scum!
