This week marks the debut of Game Room, a virtual arcade that acts as a unified hub for older games being offered as paid downloads. Some are classics, some … not so much. The first 30 titles — all of which are releasing on Wednesday alongside the free Game Room application — can be seen after the break.
Games are 240 Microsoft Points for use on either PC or Xbox 360, but not both. To play a game on both platforms, it’s 400 MS Points. Also, if you’re an insane person, you can spend 40 MS Points to increase your in-game credits once.
Of course, this is all old information; think of it as a quick refresher before the big day. The real reason I wanted to do this post was to see what kind of games Destructoid readers want Game Room to get. Last I heard, Microsoft’s plan was to release seven new titles each Thursday — that’s a lot of videogames.
