Penny is a fan favorite in Stardew Valley, and she has a long list of gifts that will make her happy. She’s also the only villager in Stardew Valley who loves Poppies — great since they’re usually a universally hated gift, so at least they’re useful for something.
If you want to increase your friendship with Penny, or perhaps become more than friends, you’ll need to improve your relationship with her through a shower of thoughtful reminders. There’s no better way to do this than to give her gifts, especially on her birthday.
Universal gifts for Stardew Valley villagers
There are some gifts that, when given to a villager, are pretty much guaranteed to raise friendship points. Note that there’s only one ‘loved’ gift Penny does not like, the Rabbit’s Foot. You could always try giving that one to villagers like Abigail instead. There’s also villagers like Sebastian and Marnie.

Like I said, Penny has a long list of gifts that she loves to receive, just remember she doesn’t want a Rabbit’s Foot. This usually universally loved gift won’t do you any favors when given to Penny, but there are plenty of other things to replace it with.
