Welcome to Earf: 0 Day Attack on Earth due out next week

The Square Enix-published, Gulti-devloped 0 Day Attack on Earth is nearing its Xbox LIVE Arcade debut. No price has been given quite yet, but next Wednesday — this week is Puzzlegeddon and Alien Breed Evolution — has indeed been confirmed as the day of arrival.

If you recall, this is the game that looks like a shmup version of Earth Defense Force 2017, although the production values are somehow higher here. You fly around above “real cities,” fighting giant monsters and robots hell-bent on destroying our beloved planet.

Basically, it ought to be good, mindless fun if it controls decently. Otherwise, there’s the Trials HD “Big Pack!” DLC to look forward to. We briefly talked about it before, but here are the bullet points: 35 racing and skill tracks, 50 physics objects, tournaments, and 50 points worth of Achievements.

Priced at a reasonable rate of $5, there’s no way I can turn it down. Sign me up!
