Another weekend and another chance to do good by donating money.

If any of the plethora of games that the Speed Gamers have run through haven’t really been your bag then this could be your chance to finally donate to them as there is now double the chance that you’ll like one of the series they are playing through because they’re playing through two of them. Starting at 6 p.m. on Aug. 20 and going for three days they will be rocking both the Assassins Creed series and the Prince of Persia series. It’s an Ubisoft extravaganza.

This time around they’ll be playing for The Gulf Restoration Network. The group is “committed to uniting and empowering people to protect and restore the natural resources of the Gulf Region for future generations.” In case you haven’t heard the news, the Gulf needs some help right now. You can check it out at http://healthygulf.org. Definitely a worthwhile cause.
