We can pre-load Battleborn’s beta on PS4, PC, and Xbox One

It goes live tomorrow on PS4, next week everywhere else

As someone who is mildly curious about Battleborn, I’m glad Gearbox is holding an open beta. It’s one of those games where I don’t think reviews alone will suffice for me — I’ll want to get more of a feel for it first-hand to know if it’s something I can get into. My intuition isn’t enough to go on.

If you’re coming from a similar mindset, you may want to download the beta ahead of time so you’re all situated once it goes live. It’s going to include two story “episodes,” two player-versus-player modes, and 25 characters, some of which won’t be accessible until you unlock them.

Download links? I gotcha: PlayStation 4, Steam, and Xbox One.

PS4 players can begin the beta tomorrow, April 8 and will receive Battleborn‘s first DLC pack for free for participating. Xbox One and PC players will need to wait until Wednesday, April 13. Unfortunately, progress made in the beta will not transfer to the full game launching May 3.
