WayForward’s Mummy game is two weeks away

This’ll be what we remember, not the new movie

I’m still upbeat about WayForward’s The Mummy Demastered, a game that looks far better than you’d ever expect from an official adaptation of 2017’s lackluster The Mummy. It’s a metroidvania that seems to lean much more on the back half of that word than the front, and seeing as how Konami is doing a whole lot of nothing with Castlevania right now, I’m very much in the mood for some vania action.

The Mummy Demastered is now set for Tuesday, October 24 on Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Switch will do just fine. Here’s the most recent trailer, in case you missed it.

This should be great week-before-Halloween fodder.
