WayForward is holding a Switch and PC sale and everything is worth buying

Until March 30

WayForward has been killing it on the Switch lately: and by lately, I basically mean since launch. Shantae: Half-Genie Hero was released in 2017 on the system, and since then they’ve released The Mummy Demastered, River City Girls, and several ports of older games. Well what do you know? All of those are on sale now on both Switch and PC.

The sale was revealed through their official Twitter account, and applies to the Humble storefront, as well as GOG, Steam and the NA and EU Switch eShops. That list includes River City Girls, Mighty Switch Force! Collection, Shantae: Half-Genie Hero (Ultimate with all the DLC and the standard edition), Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse and The Mummy Demastered.

Yes, even that latter bit, which actually surpasses the ill-fated Dark Universe Tom Cruise film, is worth getting. Every single game below is worth picking up, especially with the benefit of playing it on the go on the Switch. River City Girls was one of my favorite games of the last year, and Mighty Switch Force! is worth playing in any capacity if you haven’t already experienced it.

If you’re agonizing over which games to buy you have a while as this isn’t a quick flash sale: it runs through March 30, 2020.
