Watch this: Ten minutes of Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet

Fans of Metroid games, and indeed, fans of good-looking games in general will want to watch this footage of Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet (XBLA) that’s come out of PAX East.

Ten full minutes, with minimal editing to be found — this is one of those it-sells-itself scenarios, no question. The art style and animation are superb, which is obviously great. But more importantly, the mechanics look to be a considerable amount of fun.

That saw blade weapon at about eight minutes in is also suitably badass.
