9AM Eastern?! Yep, Nintendo is letting their Indie World showcase stream rip early due to the fact that Gamescom is kicking off today in Cologne, Germany. This year is poised to be the E3 of Europe as the powers that be punch things up a notch in light of a rather lower key E3 2019.

If you haven’t caught these before, Nintendo usually does a good job on them. The presenters are affable and clearly passionate about the games on the stream, and we get a ton of release date or window announcements, as well as exclusive drops. The big rumor is that given Microsoft’s huge presence at Gamescom (anchored by their Inside Xbox stream later today, which we’ll be covering in full), the two publishers are joining forces and announcing at least one joint project.

The big possible get? Ori and the Blind Forest on Switch, which is still an Xbox One console exclusive to this day after releasing in 2015. The other rumor is Superhot on Switch, which now has eShop data and has been expected to hit the console/portable hybrid for some time. According to murmurs, both could arrive on the eShop today.

As always anything could happen, so stay tuned and let’s watch it below together! Just be prepared to set aside around 20 minutes.
