Watch Dogs loses its lead game designer to EA

Who will watch the Watch Dogs now?

Upcoming Ubisoft title Watch Dogs has experienced a potential setback after the departure of lead designer Jamie Keen, who has defected to EA Gothenburg. VideoGamer.com is reporting that Keen, who was also a lead designer on Far Cry 3 apparently left Ubisoft Montreal to re-join EA in February this year.

It doesn’t look like a big surprise looking at his previous positions, especially having worked on previous EA games such as Battlefield Bad Company and Syndicate. Hopefully this is a case of EA making Keen an offer he can’t refuse rather than an indication of any potential problems with Watch Dogs, as I’m really looking forward to seeing how that game turns out.
