Watch Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Hacker’s Memory’s first electrofunky trailer

Why do I get all the games with long names?

Slightly odd to call this an “announcement” trailer since we’ve known about this game for some time, but it’s the first one I suppose. Electronic beats jazz over a first glimpse at gameplay and environments.

Digital worlds and electronic music combos may be as cliche as that “Yooo!” sound effect in Japan-themed settings, but its one I’ll never tire of. It’s just cool. Even if Tron Legacy was bland overall it got the vibe right. Likewise, Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Hacker’s Memory has a check mark for style. Now let’s hope the gameplay is good.
